Vegan Cadbury Creme Eggs
Last night, I was lucky to be a guest at my friend Sunny's (Vegan Beauty Review) birthday party/housewarming party. I wanted my potluck contribution to be fun and festive, so I knew it was time to take on a challenge.
I looked over this recipe that veganized the infamous Cadbury Creme Eggs (a beloved part of my pre-vegan days) and started thinking about the best way to approach it.
All of my friends have been raving about them, telling their other friends about them, and multiple people told me I should package and sell them. In other words, the vegan Cadbury Creme Eggs were a huge hit and I will absolutely make them again.
EDIT: I've decided to remove my thoughts on the technique and process of this recipe from this post, but if you have specific questions, please feel free to leave me your question and your e-mail address in the comments and I'd be happy to reply.

Absolutely! These were in every which way, nothing short of amazing. Exactly like the real thing, only healthier, vegan... and therefore, so much better! Thank you for making the epic effort, it was soooo worth it.
These look absolutely phenomenal! I find the same method of dipping is best for truffles, too. Yours obviously worked out great! And OOOOOHHHH I would have loved to see an inside shot!! What was the filling like? I miss Creme Eggs--think I will HAVE to try these. :)
Yum to the extreme!!
I can't wait to try these. I have been thinking about those candies for a few weeks now. Have you tried it your second way (freezing the insides before dipping)? I was thinking that would be a good way to do it, but worry about changing the texture.
those faux cadbury eggs were absolutely delicious and sounds like they took A LOT of work! i can't thank you enough.
seriously, everybody can't stop talking about them they were SO GOOD.
I... think... I love you?
Next time make them out here ma belle, softening or melting would not have been an issue ;) Délicieux!
I was just thinking about concocting my own recipe for these after reminiscing about easters of getting sick after eating one too many cadbury eggs, those look awesome!
Props to you for making your own vegan cadbury eggs!! I am super impressed.

I know it has been a long time since you posted this, but I wanted to make some of these for my boyfriend for Valentine's day and wanted your input on the technique and things that you omitted from this entry.
Thank you!
