VeganMoFo: KindKreme

We in LA are fortunate to have an almost-entirely-vegan (some flavors contain honey) ice cream shop called KindKreme. A group of friends and I converged on KindKreme Sunday early evening, basically taking over the whole store. Although I tried a couple other flavors, my clear favorite was Fresh, a coconut-based ice cream made from cucumber, kale, lemon, ginger, Himalayan sea salt, and a bit of agave for sweetness. This just might be the most perfect ice cream flavor I've ever tasted.

I am so jealous of all your vegan restaurant options! Kale? Interesting!

That sounds absolutely delicious! It's a little far for me to go, though.

That sounds great. I've been there once will have to hit it again and test out other options.

Kale and cucumber?? Sounds like my morning smoothie. . .okay, I can see that as ice cream! ;)

I tried to go on Sunday too but they closed early bc of Halloween! I haven't tried fresh but kale in ice cream sounds like my dream combo. We are very in sync this mofo :)
